ISO 20000-1:2011

ISO 20000-1:2011 is an international IT standard that permits companies to demonstrate brilliance and prove best practice in IT management. The standard makes sure companies can achieve evidence-based benchmarks to constantly progress their delivery of IT services. It defines how a company controls its service provision in terms of the design, transition, delivery and improvement of services that provide value for both the customer and the service provider. It is based around four key service management processes – Service Delivery, Control, Resolution and Relationship Management.
